“Camp Quest is an extraordinary opportunity to let your child experience nature and humanity at its best.”
-Camp Quest Parent

Camp Quest provides an educational adventure shaped by fun, friends and freethought, featuring science, natural wonder and humanist values.

Camp Quest® is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit that supports a growing network of independently operated Camp Quest programs across North America. Our secular, co-ed summer camps offer week-long residential programs for children aged 8-17 and day camps for children aged 4-8.

Camp Quest programs are the synergy of our commitment to helping campers develop critical thinking skills, growing empathy in our relationships and communities, and to offering a one-of-a kind learning experience grounded in science, ethics, philosophy, and nature.

Camp Quest ignited a confidence in my son that was immediately noticeable the moment I picked him up from camp that first year.

One thing I learned this year was being able to focus on understanding others and seeing from their perspective.

Our Program Goals

At Camp Quest, we foster curiosity, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking in young people to enable them to draw their own conclusions.

We aim to cultivate reason and empathy as foundations of an ethical, productive and fulfilling life.

All of our programs provide a safe and fun environment for personal and social growth while encouraging exploration of the natural world.

Camp activities such as Socrates Café promote open dialogue that is marked by challenging each other's ideas while treating each other with respect.

Our Famous Freethinkers program raises awareness of positive contributions made by atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and other non-theistic people to our society.

Camp Quest demonstrates atheism and humanism as positive, family-friendly worldviews.

I volunteer with Camp Quest because it gives me a sense of hope for the future. I see all these kids with the same ideals as me, and I get to be a part of shaping their future.
