Kim Newton joined the Camp Quest team in January 2017. As executive director, Kim oversees the growth and development of Camp Quest. She previously served as Director of College Prep Programs at the American Shakespeare Center. Kim brings over 13 years of experience in non-profit management, development, and education to Camp Quest.
Kim holds an MLitt degree in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University, and a B.A. in Theatre from Hunter College of The City University of New York. She lives in Staunton, Virginia with her husband Geoff Newton and dog Henry. Kim is a founding Board member of the Staunton Media Alliance, a non-profit which operates the area's first community radio station, WQSV 106.3 FM.
Camp Quest's national staff works to support the efforts of our affiliated independent Camp Quest camps. Our local camp affiliates are all organized and staffed by volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved as a camp counselor or organizer, please contact your local camp.
